Green smoothie

This smoothie is delicious! I used 1 cup Vanilla Almond Milk, 1 banana, 1 cup blueberries, 1 cup baby spinach, 1 tbs Almond butter, 1 tbs Wee Bee Honey...very Yuummm! :)

Morning's in the Q house

Sooo here r two of my boys..engrossed in daddy's early morning video game routine. The coffee is brewed, the diaper has been changed...the starving infant released from his daily suffering. (The tummy rumbles have gone away for the moment.)
Time to play in his walker, explore the house, anything he can get his hands on specifically and to occasionally stop, watch, and make daddy feel loved. Awe so cute.

Schwinn time Ba-by! :)

Mondays are our date night..me and my hubby Luis..We usually head out to dinner and a movie. However every once and awhile I get bored and try to come up with something new for us to do. There's not much to do in Las Vegas for people who don't like to go clubbing/drinking..or gambling. And who don't have the kinda $ needed to go to a Vegas hotel show every week (such as Cirques So Le or comedian/ music type shows)..you get my drift I'm sure.
So, for awhile now I've been thinking about purchasing a new bike. And after vacationing in Carlsbad last week it just solidified the idea for me. Seeing people riding up and down the road in front of the beach made me remember that I used to love bike riding as a kid, why not use something I loved so much to get some extra work out time in during the week...? Right? Yea!
So after a dinner at the WholeFoods Market last night I decided to convince my hubby to take me to Target because I knew they had a pink and white Schwinn beach cruiser that I just had to have. ;) He didn't take much convincing..he never does..I have a fantastic husband. I'm a lucky girl...soo he jumped right on the idea, and we made two trips to Target, taking one bike home at a time, crammed into the back of my tiny two door Hyundai Accent. It was a stressful annoying process actually...however this morning it was all worth it. Feeling stupid, and looking pretty stupid in my opinion, we made had our first Scwinn road trip...to Walmart..haha...and it was a blast. Here's me looking silly in my helmet, on my new love.

Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga

Ok, since my hubby's alarm went of at 5:45 this morning and woke up me and my one year old Garion, so that he could go to the gym. I decided to make the best of it.

Soooo my back has been trying to kill me for years now, I swear it...I've been seeing a chiropractor for the last 3 months or so and it doesn't seem to be helping all that much. My sister in law recommended I try this Vinyasa Yoga...and I'm not going to lie, for me it's really hard. And this is not my first time doing yoga. I have like 6 yoga DVD's in the workout section of my DVD folder. (yes I'm one of those people with tons of workout dvd's on hand, that I hardly ever use) I prefer the more slow going, relaxation oriented yoga. But this stuff is pretty fast paced. Anyway I am going to keep trying to do it often, since at this point I can't even lay on the floor without flinching and gasping because my back is so sore. And I'm, you know "sick and tired of being sick and tired," as they say. Wish me luck in keeping this a routine ;)

I know it's wrong to hate people..but..

I can't help it. Why are ppl so ignorant these days? Y no common sense? I work part time at a gas station and the ppl that come here boil my blood something fierce! I can't even look most of them in the eyes anymore cuz I want to smash their faces in. I get a very rare person maybe once or twice in an 8 hour shift that knows how to say please and thank u. Oh and who can figure out how to pump their gas without screaming and yelling bcuz they haven't figured out how to turn the pump on!

And yesterday this guy came here who I've caught doing this once before..he drives up to our out of service tire air machine and takes off the plastic bag that is wrapped around it. Throws it in our dumpster along with the big yellow and black Out Of Service sign! Then looks at me watching him from my caged in attendant booth,(where I'm staying safe while taking down his license plate #) gets in his car and drives away! Now tell me, what is the point in doing this?? He doesn't even try to use the air pump after doing this. He just looks at me and then leaves!...is he just insane, extremely bored, or what!? Get a life guy!! I think eventually, working 7 days a week is going to drive me postal...

Carlsbad CA beach at sunset, breathtaking isn't it?? :) I just returned to Nevada yesterday with my hubby from a 3 nights stay in his hometown of Carlsbad. It took me a few years of vacationing with him there to convince him that this is where we should be living out our dream life...I can't wait to start.

I guess while he was growing up in Carlsbad he never really grasped how lucky he was to live so close to the beach and to have such beautiful weather every single day of the spring and summer..and to my mind the winters aren't bad either...I happen to Love the rain, before we started visiting Carlsbad so often i had been trying to convince my hubby (Luis) that we should move someday to Seattle or somewhere else beautiful and not 100 + degrees everyday of the summer. Where my beautiful children can run outside and play and enjoy their lives!..and of course where i can enjoy mine ;)

Here are my handsome boys...don't they deserve the best? :) I think so
